WATERMAN 13
CANOE

Fisher Design
- The Waterman Series Canoes are really Guide Boats
- Whilst her length is only 13’, her beam is 36”
(0.91) and her central hull depth is 13”
- Being wider than the typical Canadian canoe of this length,
she is a very roomy stable craft and can be used to carry
a lot of luggage or to fish from
- The hull design has 3 chines allowing a wide bodied design
for stability whilst at the same time having a low water
surface area

COBLE

Fisher Design
- The Northumbrian Coble is a sturdy and very seaworthy
small working dinghy which could be rowed, sailed and motored
easily
- She has a striking appearance and retains the generous
freeboard and high stem of the Yorkshire Cobles along with
their shapely well raked transoms, tumblehome and striking
reverse sheer line
- Our Coble is trimmed with Kauri
- Cobles range in size from 9'4" to 12'6"

WAKA AMA

- This is an 18ft, 2 person outrigger canoe suitable for
all club sports and personal paddling. Our Waka has been
built along traditional lines and with detachable outrigger
alows it to be transported with a garden type trailer
- We also build bent shaft outrigger paddles to compliment
this boat

timbers including Kauri, Totora, Rewa Rewa, etc. with some
exotic feature timbers

RHUM

Fisher Design
- This is a 11’6’’ x 5’ ‘V’
bottomed dinghy for general purpose use.
- ‘V’ bottom and 5’ beam gives both stability
and a good turn of speed under both oars and sails
- Can be built as a pure rowing/outboard motor dinghy for
fishing, used as a tender or can be fitted out as a sailing
dinghy

DART 16 DOUBLE KAYAK
- Designed by Selway
Fisher Design
- The Dart 16 has a soft “U” shaped bottom running
into flared “V” sections fore and aft with a
chine, giving a very stable shape
- She has a large 7’ long cockpit and with her 32”
(0.84m) beam she is ideal for sea canoeing
- The decks are heavily rounded to give adequate room inside
and to easily shed water, buoyancy chambers are built in
fore and aft

SKYLARK 8 DINGHY
- The hull shape of the Skylark 8 gives plenty of room
right forward making her a good load carrier as well as
very stable
- She has a length of 7’11’’and a beam
of 3’8’’ making her easy to carry and
car topping
- A small outboard may be fitted to the transom
- We have included hand carry-holds on our Skylarks or
an optional wheel may be fitted to the skeg
- Makes an excellent tender
- Both bow & stern seats are sealed for extra floation

15' 8" FISHER PROSPECTOR CANOE
- This is the Selway
Fisher version of an old favourite of the Prospector
type open canoe. The original Prospectors were originally
designed in Canada and known as the "workhorse of the
North"
- They had to have a good carrying capacity for all of
the Prospector's gear and they had to work well through
white water and wilderness
- LOA 15'8" (4.76m); Beam 2'11" (0.88m); Depth
amidships 14.5" (0.36m)
- Our canoes are trimmed with selected hard woods and kauri.
Seats are woven with nylon webbing

TUGLY (MICROTRAWLER
- Designed by Phil Bolger
- Tugly may be used as a day boat for 4 or over nighting
for two people
- Even though she may have a "Little Toot" look
about her she has some surprising features for a boat under
15'

- 50HP outboard provides a cruising speed of 24MPH
